Cologne III (electoral district)

Cologne III ((ドイツ語:Köln III)) is one of the four electoral districts (German: ''Wahlkreis'') covering the city of Cologne in the German Bundestag. Part of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the constituency elects one representative under the mixed member proportional representation (MMP) system. Under the current constituency numbering system, it is designated as constituency 96. The district has been held by the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) since the 1969 election, with Rolf Mützenich representing the district since the 2002 election.
==Boundaries==
Covering the north western quarter of the city of Cologne, since 1980 the boundaries have remained unchanged and the constituency has contained the entirety of two of the city's nine districts: Ehrenfeld, Nippes and Chorweiler.〔(Electoral boundaries ), bundeswahlleiter.de, accessed 12 June 2012〕
